Terms of Service
Effective May 19, 2026.
These terms govern your use of anomalistenterprise.com, its subdomains, and any product or service offered under the Anomalist Enterprise LLC umbrella ("we", "us", "Anomalist"). By using the site or any of our products, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use this
You need to be at least 18 to use the marketing site, beta products, or buy services unless a specific product explicitly permits younger users under a parental account.
2. Services and engagements
Our service offerings — Consulting, Embassy (custom websites and applications), and Maximus — are described on the site for marketing purposes. Any actual engagement is governed by a separate written quote, statement of work, or engagement letter we sign with you. Where that document differs from these terms, the engagement document controls for that engagement.
3. Products and beta software
Several Anomalist products are currently in private beta: Berea, Atlas/MentorForge, Compass, Delta, and any other product the site labels accordingly. Beta access is offered without warranty and on an as-available basis. Specifically:
- Features may change, regress, or be removed without notice.
- The service may be unavailable for periods of time.
- Data you generate or store may be lost during schema migrations or other engineering changes. We back up where reasonable and we do our best to avoid this; we do not guarantee against it.
- There is no service level agreement (SLA) for beta software.
- Beta access is non-transferable and may be revoked at our discretion — for example, on abuse, fraud, or a transition out of beta.
When a product graduates from beta to a paid offering, the applicable subscription terms will be presented at sign-up. Beta users will be given reasonable notice before their access changes.
4. Magic-link invites and accounts
Where applicable, we issue access to beta products via signed magic-link emails. Those links are personal, single-use within their expiration window, and bind your access to the email address that received them. Don't share the link. If your link expires or doesn't arrive, contact us and we'll resend.
5. Acceptable use
When using the site or our products, you agree not to:
- Disrupt or attempt to disrupt service availability for other users.
- Scrape, automate, or rate-abuse our endpoints beyond their intended human-scale use.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer paid features or bypass access controls without permission.
- Use our services to send spam, harassment, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others.
- Conduct security testing without prior written authorization from us.
Violation can result in suspension or termination of access.
6. Content and intellectual property
Our content. The site's design, written content, source code, brand assets, and product UX are owned by Anomalist Enterprise LLC unless explicitly attributed otherwise. You may not copy or republish substantial portions without permission.
Your content. Content you submit to a product — conversations, journal entries, documents, account details — is and remains yours. To operate the product, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and process that content (including sending it to subprocessors listed in our privacy policy) for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't use it to train third-party models.
7. Third-party services
Our products rely on third-party services (Cloudflare for hosting and edge, Resend for transactional email, Anthropic and others for AI inference, etc.) listed in the privacy policy. We don't control those providers' systems and we're not responsible for their outages or changes — though we route around them when we can.
The marketing site also uses a single optional, consent-gated, first-party analytics cookie — what it is, what it logs, and how to opt out are described in the privacy policy's cookies section.
8. AI output
AI-generated responses can be wrong, outdated, biased, or fabricated. Our products are designed to expose their sources so you can verify the work — and the responsibility for acting on an output remains yours. Don't rely on AI output alone for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
9. Fees and payment
The marketing site and current beta products are free of charge unless the site explicitly says otherwise. Paid services (Consulting, Embassy, Maximus, and any product moving out of beta) are billed under the terms of a signed engagement or the checkout terms presented at purchase. Refunds and cancellations are addressed in those agreements.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and our beta products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defect will be corrected.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anomalist Enterprise LLC, its members, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the site or our products.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claim brought by a third party arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights through your use of the service.
13. Termination
You can stop using the site or any product at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for any user who materially violates these terms, with notice where reasonable. Sections that should survive termination by their nature — e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law — do.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, please email us first — most disagreements can be resolved informally. Any unresolved dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Vanderburgh County, Indiana, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
15. SMS & text messaging program
Program: Anomalist Enterprise Insurance Updates. Anomalist Enterprise LLC and its licensed insurance agents (operating under their respective agency brands) send recurring text messages about Medicare, life, or supplemental insurance to consumers who provided their phone number and consent on an insurance quote or inquiry form.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply. We don't charge for messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
- Opt out anytime: reply STOP to any message — you'll receive one confirmation and no further texts.
- Help: reply HELP, or contact support@anomalistenterprise.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Your information is handled per our privacy policy, including our commitment not to share mobile opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
16. Changes
We may update these terms when something material changes about our services, our subprocessors, or the law. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or our products after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
